STAR WARS---a rumor claims the disappointing box office of SOLO: A STAR WARS STORY has forced Lucasfilm to put its spinoff movies on hold. These include the Obi-Wan Kenobi and Boba Fett movies. A "well-established outlet" said director Stephen Daldry left the Obi-Wan Kenobi movie in early May even before SOLO's box office returns were known.
Lucasfilm will continue to develop EPISODE IX, Rian Johnson's trilogy and the movies being developed by the creators of GAME OF THRONES.
Another source said after Lucasfilm fired Colin Trevorror and the team of Phil Lord and Chris Miller, it will only hire "proven veteran talent who they know can handle a big budget Star Wars production."

THE ABC MURDERS---photo released from the BBC/Amazon three-part miniseries starring John Malkovich as Hercule Poirot.

THE WALKING DEAD---new showrunner Angela Kang said Season 9 will have a time jump forward from Season 8, “We’re working on a season that has a really fresh look and feel. We’re playing with time in this season, so we get to kind of jump forward in the story.”

JAMES BOND---trainer Giacomo Farci posted a video of Mark Strong training for a new role. Farci's post hinted the role was in the 25th Bond movie by mentioning James Bond, 007, bond25, Daniel Craig, Barbara Broccoli and Michael Wilson.

REAGAN---Dennis Quaid, Jon Voight and David Henrie star in this Ronald Reagan biomovie.

TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES---Paramount Pictures is developing a third movie in the franchise. Andrew Dodge (BAD WORDS) is the writer.

EMPEROR---Dayo Okeniyi, James Cromwell and Bruce Dern star in this movie about John Brown and the abolitionist movement.

BODY CAM---Mary J. Blige stars in this horror movie about white LAPD cops who are haunted by a spirit after they destroyed body cam evidence in which they killed a black teenager.

TRIVIA---in THE NATURAL, Darren McGavin co-starred as villain Gus Sands. However, McGavin has no onscreen credit because he was the last cast member to sign which meant there was no star billing available. He chose to work for Screen Actors Guild pay scale instead of a larger salary without credit for artistic reasons and he was not happy with the original credit/pay offer. Co-star Robert Prosky said this led to McGavin, "drawing more attention to himself".

Darren McGavin and Kim Basinger in THE NATURAL.

If this means the bloody thing will get to a conclusion quicker and finish, then hallelujah!!! Great idea.
Kill it before even the dead get bored of walking!!
