What are the best online places to get CD deals?

Is there a trading post on another site worth checking out?

Seconded Discogs. When I'm looking for something specific I also check eBay and Waterstones Marketplace. Yes, I know they're a bookstore but they do music too and the people who sell via them (whilst often being the same people using Amazon) do sometimes have unexpected stock that others don't seem to. For someone in the UK, their shipping cost from US sellers can be very competitive, although the counterbalance to that is VERY slow delivery times. I can only assume they batch up a whole load of orders until it's economical to import them all in one go or something.

UK on-line store called, Soundtracks to your Life, I've purchased there about a dozen times, good-deals.

Vascocine has a nice lay-out, but the problem is sale cd's go quick at low prices, I check there twice a week.

Intermezzio Media deal, you buy 12-16 cd's & live in Europe the rate is only 8 euro's to mail.

Chris Soundtrack offers a top-deal, spend 100 euro's with a CSC cd & you get free shipping.

The majority of my transactions with DISCOGS were problematic. Most of the CDs I bought there were overrated, lots of damaged covers, stickers, wear and so, than most of the sellers I dealt with didn't mentioned.

Like? I thought I found a killer deal for Transformers only to find out that it was a fake. I got my money back. I would not go back to Discogs.

Do you have a link for: Soundtracks to your Life?

Amazon for new and old releases.

Buying directly from the labels on these limited editions helps our labels and keeps them going, support your soundtrack labels directly!

For example:
Cocoon The Return on Amazon is $49.99, https://www.amazon.com/Cocoon-Return-Deluxe-Soundtrack-Sarabande/dp/B0755R5P5D , FREE AMAZON shipping, though it's $25.00 more expensive, though if you like to spend a ton for CDs you can buy elsewhere for cheaper, that's your call. For those of us that are poor saving any money we can on buying CD's is always appreciated. But if you are rich and don't mind paying $5, $10 or more when you can buy it elsewhere for cheaper, go right ahead smile

Cocoon The Return on Varese Sarabande's website $19.98, https://www.varesesarabande.com/products/cocoon-the-return-the-deluxe-edition

and another...

The Jewel Of The Nile by Jack Nitzsche on Amazon is $23.95, https://www.amazon.com/Jewel-Nile-Jack-Nitzsche/dp/B07BC2XJY5/ref=sr_1_3?s=music&ie=UTF8&qid=1526503274&sr=1-3&keywords=Jewel+of+the+nile , NO FREE AMAZON SHIPPING.

The Jewel Of The Nile by Jack Nitzsche on La-La Lands website $19.98,
http://www.lalalandrecords.com/Site/TJOTN.html

Older titles you may be able to find cheaper on Amazon, but newer titles are usually cheaper via the actual soundtrack labels. Support your labels, buy direct.

Amazon for new and old releases.

If you want to give more profit to a huge company with pretty much an online monopoly (and who treats their workers like absolute shit) and take away profits from our beloved small specialty labels, sure.

I do like Amazon customer service though, I must admit.

I have picked up a lot of back catalogue stuff from https://www.secondspin.com/ very cheaply in the last couple of years. Their shipping rates are great too. I have even nabbed few out of print La La Land, Varese and Intrada titles.

I have friends who work at Amazon and they seem to like it.

Use moviemusic.com They seem to be the only ones with loss leader shipping to earn your business. :-D
