I really wish someone would release THE GREEK TYCOON John Kongos/Stanley Myers.

The guilty pleasure Onassis Kennedy movie with Anthony Quinn and Jacqueline Bisset! With James Franciscus as Astronaut/President Brent Cassidy. "My God, it's a City of Greek Apes!"

I love it!

PLANET OF THE GRAPES anyone?

Sucks how they couldn't add just one more credit for: Music by John Kongos and Stanley Myers in the Main Title Cards. They did the same thing to John Williams in THE TOWERING INFERNO. These great composers all got their credits in the End Titles of the films.

My unreleased list were titles released on lp, but not on cd, Midnight Cowboy and Cotton Club, though released on cd, are truly worthy of expansion.

I have been mulling over my previous choices -- and have changed my mind.

Revisions:

1. Herrmann - "Endless Night" -- Stays on list.
2. Rosenman - "East of Eden" -- Take off as I have Soundstage, Imperial LP with selections, Warner LP with selections, Columbia LP and CD with selections, John Adams rerecording CD, and William Motzing rerecording CD.
3. Rosenman - "Rebel Without a Cause" -- Take off as I have Imperial LP with selections, Warner LP with selections, Columbia LP and CD with selections, John Adams rerecording CD, and William Motzing rerecording CD.
4. Rosenman - "9/30/55"—take off as I have the lp.
5. Herrmann - "Marnie" – take off as I have Soundstage, the Varese rerecording, and the Herrmann Phase 4 suite.

So...

Revised list:

Herrmann – “Endless Night”
Markowitz – “The Magic Sword”
Alwyn w/ Sherman Brothers (songs) – “In Search of the Castaways”
Rozsa – the three albums of suites w/ Royal Philharmonic Orchestra
Raksin – “The Redeemer”

scoreaholic:
Magnum PI (TV series, Mike Post?)

The series began with Ian Freebairn-Smith (who also did the first series' theme, which only last a few episodes), then Mike Post did some alone, and John Cacavas did one, then it was Mike Post & Pete Carpenter from thereon in.

One episode in season one had no composer credited; I wonder, since every other episode that season was scored, if a score was tossed while trying to figure out who they wanted as a composer.
