Does anyone have this 1965 LP of TV theme songs? If so, how are the arrangements? I couldn't find it on the InterTubes.

Thanks. I knew he did some other mandolin-focused albums, but didn't know that was going on here. Trying to imagine the theme from "Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea" played on mandolin!

Thanks again!

it is exactly for this theme i bought this lp. In the era 1973/1976 there was not a single album for tv themes available in Canada ! The first one was SPACE 1999.

We had a lot of these in the US over the years. Nelson Riddle, Pete Rugolo, Frank Comstock, Impact! and Double Impact! by Buddy Morrow, TV Action Jazz! my Mundell Lowe, The Cop Show Themes by Mancini, an early-70s cop show album by John Gregory, etc. It seems like every album contains one track you can't find anyplace else!

It was on YT but has been pulled by the looks of it. I must say I love this album: the colourful lounge/exotica arrangements (with a lot of funky organ work) are very original. It's no mandolin orchestra! Voyage has some luscious harmonies and is particularly delightful.

Thanks for posting it. I love seeing an album like this, especially one I didn't know about. And anything with BEWITCHED on it is an instant curio for me.

Thanks for the advice on this one. I picked up a copy today that had been languishing at a record store. Some really nice EZ arrangements, only one track I was forced to skip due to march content.
