DIE HARD 6---the sequel script is being rewritten by Chad and Carey Hayes (THE CONJURING). Bruce Willis and director Len Wiseman (LIVE FREE OR DIE HARD) are returning. The rumored plot has detective John McClane in the present and McClane as a New York cop in the 1970s.

WESTWORLD---Jonathan Nolan said he will "f*ck" with the Reddit fan theories about Season 2, “TRUE DETECTIVE had a lot of fan theories that proved to be theories. There are lot of theories about WESTWORLD’s first season that proved to be plot twists. I think for every fan theory, we actually had an episode that dealt with it. We’re figuring out how to sort of interact with that in the second season. A somewhat controversial plan that we’re working on; we’ll have an announcement about it in a couple weeks.”

BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER---Fox CEO Gary Newman said he wants to reboot the Joss Whedon vampire series, “[BUFFY] is probably the most ripe show we have for bringing back. It’s something we talk about frequently. Joss Whedon is one of the greatest creators we’ve ever worked for. When Joss decides it’s time, we’ll do it.”

TRIVIA---in BATTLE OF BRITAIN, Michael Caine (Spitfire Squadron Leader Canfield) gets in his sports car and drives off from a bombed airfield.
In reality, Caine did not know how to drive, so a team of prop men pulled the car along with Caine pretending to drive it.
Caine, who owned a yellow Rolls-Royce Corniche, said, "The first car I ever bought was a Rolls-Royce but I couldn't drive it, so I said I was going to learn to drive with my Rolls-Royce and the insurance company said, 'No you're not.' The premium was so high it was cheaper to hire a chauffeur."
When Caine moved to Hollywood, he decided to get his first driver's license. Caine talked about when he got into the car with the license examiner, "I got in the car and the guy looked at me and went, 'I loved you in THE MAN WHO WOULD BE KING. You're going to have to be sh*t to not pass this test.' "So, at the age of 50, I passed."
Caine's role as a Spitfire squadron leader in BATTLE OF BRITAIN continued as director Christopher Nolan wanted his good luck charm, Caine, to be in DUNKIRK---Caine is the voice of "Fortis leader" on the radio giving instructions to two other Spitfire pilots including Tom Hardy.
Ironically, in both movies, Caine's Spitfire is shot down.

Michael Caine played Spitfire Squadron Leader Canfield in BATTLE OF BRITAIN.

In BATTLE OF BRITAIN, Caine's car is about to be "driven" offscreen by a team of prop men.

Lead mech: "You saw Canfield go down?"

Pilot eyewitness makes open, sweeping arm movements: "He just . . . BLEW UP!"

Canfield's dog cocks his head to one side when the squadron starts arriving back at home base, but one plane is short - "where's papa gone?" That has always been a curious shot, as it makes dogs out to be a lot smarter and savvy than most are willing to admit. The dog has a dark coat, and I always wondered if the reference was to Gibson's dog, N, from The Dam Busters.

I won't watch.

If Joss gets clear of these accusations, I'll come back, but until them I'm avoiding him.

So, they want to bring BtVS back, but not "Firefly"?

I'm still on board with Lost In Space. Looks fantastic. Though I really wish they kept true to the original production designs as much as possible. Or gender bend and race bend everything.
