We often see car chase scenes, explosion of cars, as well as super cars featured on films. We don't usually see truck parts flying when there were action scenes, and there's only few truck chase scenes.
Do you agree with this list of 7 best movie pickup trucks https://www.hagerty.com/articles-videos/articles/2017/12/01/7-best-movie-trucks 7. The Expendables (2010) 6. Twister (1996) 5. The Bridges of Madison County (1995) 4. The Cannonball Run (1981) 3. Back to the Future (1985) 2. Hooper (1978) 1. Take This Job and Shove It (1981)
Totally agree with that list, yes. I must admit though that I'm more into tractor chases. It's the one thing that made the otherwise excellent David Lynch movie (THE STRAIGHT STORY? Not sure if that's the completely right title) a bit of a slog. No tractor chases. Massey-Ferguson used to do good ones, although their refusal to send spare parts to North Korea is a bit annoying, and will hurt business in the long run.

THE HUNTER (1980) had a stupendous tractor chase! Movie changed my life.
Whilst i only watched it for De Masis score and alessandroni whistling, i seem to recall Pickup truck chase over rocky ground and desert in Lone Wolf McQuade. One that after ten yards wouldve broken 5 axles but not in the movies!
