Simple format. Folks choose what music they'd take if stranded on a desert island, plus a book choice and a luxury item, together with a nice interview. Assuming this plays outside the UK:

William Hartnell: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p009y3yj

David Tennant: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00pdz1n

Matt Smith: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b09tc5zb

Interesting, especially the Hartnell bit. Such a curmudgeon! He really hated his stint on DOCTOR WHO, didn't he? Notice when he's asked about the show at the very end, he quickly moves the conversation elsewhere.

Were there any other doctors on this show?

Don't think so.

He didn't hate his stint - that's just his personality.

It's not the 'very end', just the end of the surviving clip. We don't know how the chat continued.

By all accounts there was a Jon Pertwee edition in 1964, but it's now lost. Also, of course there would have been no Doctor Who connection as his time in the series didn't start until 1970. Still a shame of course.. Just as it's a shame the rest of them didn't do a Desert Island Discs.

There were at least three editions of This Is Your Life each featuring a Doctor. The first featured Pertwee during his time in DW in the early 70s but again sadly lost, though there is a reconstruction ..https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6WnNXt6PfAM

Peter Davison had one in the 80s that no one seems to have and Tom Baker in 2000: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zZoORhV2oLU

The Peter Davison episode of This Is Your Life was on YouTube until recently. They do get pulled sometimes due to copyright unfortunately.

Bernard Cribbins, Bonnie Langford and Frazer Hines also had episodes of This Is Your Life but none are on YouTube.

Well, it could still happen for every one from Baker onwards...
