Some days all you need is a bit of Mancini to help you endure a Monday. This has to be among my favorite Kritzerland releases, if not my favorite. Well done.
Great film & score, Mancini i have a lot of respect for i love his style of music to most his films slick, Two for the Road has great melodies, fine themes, jazzy rhythms nice mix I'm glad it was released & expanded i picked up a copy pronto, its cool listening too HM in any mood.

You know what? I was just replaying my Kritzerland copy of the score and then it hit me - where's the SONG with the chorus that was in the original release of this soundtrack. I grew up listening to that song and only now did I notice it's not on this album. I miss it!

The song wasn't featured in the film at all and I'm sure Kritzerland didn't have the rights to the RCA album so that's why you don't have it on their release.

I ended up buying the RCA album after I got the Kritzerland because I wanted to hear Mancini's original album treatment. But I find myself going back to the Kritzerland when I want another listen, so I must be agreeing with all of you!
When I need to chill out to some lovely Mancini music, I play my CDR that I edited-down from the Kritzerland release. It’s a nifty “monothematic” 38-minute suite of all the snazzy variations on the Two for the Road theme Mancini used throughout the film. It was fun to assemble in Sound Forge and it’s a great listen.
