There you go, that's about the only cue you need. You already know what the rest sounds like if you've heard any generic action-thriller-revenge score of the past fifteen years. But that is a very nice theme!
Now that you had your 'get of my lawn' moment, perhaps you could find the time to fill you film score loving hearts with the wondrous scores mr. Göransson has provided for both Creed and Black Panther. Nothing these was generic. They were lively, thematic and well thought through.
Film music is more alive than it has been for decades.
Just gave this (factory pressed CD from Sony Classical) a spin - there's a lot of really clever stuff in it. Quite subtle musical treats. And a really cool blaster-beam type effect. Certainly not as "generic" as some posters above have made out.
Not as good as Black Panther or Everything, Everything or Creed, but gets the job done!
Haven't heard BP, Death Wish was a decent effort i'd say better than Creed this is LG's own colours. LG did take little textures off his opening theme Hospital but he really worked well over that mood which got very-deep & darker sounding like horror - similar energy too JC's Maniac barring lullabies, love those easy piano tracks 1-2 blend with a beautiful choir tempo there pretty.
