it's a tie for me between :

"You're the one" from CIRCLE OF FRIENDS and "Star" from JACK

two magnificent songs sung by Maire Brennan/Shane McGowan and Bryan Adams respectively.

Oh henry, this is such a great thread. I have to say "You're the One" and "Have You Ever Really Loved a Woman? and "All For Love".

Having just spent the weekend with Kate Bush, I would like to concur with Hello Earth and add This Woman's Work, the latter being a tie with Moments of Pleasure as my all time favourite KB song.

Another vote for “You’re The One”. I really love what he did for Kate Bush’s albums as well.

"Beside You" in What Dreams May Come (originally from the NYRE days?) is gorgeous.

Wiki lists only 9 songs, but can that be correct? Only 9?

Hey buddy!smileI've been doing some research, and found out three of his songs, EVERYTHING I DO, ALL FOR LOVE and HAVE YOU EVER REALLY LOVED A WOMAN made it to number one on the Billboard charts.

Who Wants to Live Forever does sound pretty Kamen-y. But then it never sounded like not-Queen either. Do we know anything about this?

Enlighten me, please.

Allegedly, Brian May wrote it on the backseat of a car, right after they went to their first showing of footage from the film.

One of my favorites is "Shall I Compare Thee" from the Shakespeare CD "When Love Speaks":

Nice. It almost sounds like Glen Yarbrough. (That is a sentence I never expected to type...)
