Hello.

Is any label thinking of rereleasing those two exp. scores?
I missed out on the two.

Anyone who sells one of the above ( LALALAND and PROMETHEUS Exp.)?

If so please let me know.I missed out on these two.
I´m located in Germany though...so add the shipping.

The Swarm will be coming soon from one of the label most probably from LLL, hopefully this year, so I would hold on purchasing a second hand copy especially as I expect it will be a delux edition. In relation to Innerspace, I too missed out on this, hopefully if MV is reading this he will look at reissuing this again sometime.

Hey moolik, I have no idea about when or if THE SWARM or INNERSPACE are coming out, but you did leave your "horror music" thread dangling in mid-air. I hate it when that happens. Go back and give us your thoughts on that. Thanking you!

MV stated that there seems to be no interest in re-releasing Innerspace from the other labels which is a bit strange considering how popular Goldsmith is here on the board. I'd certainly be in favour of a re-release. Anyone else?

Please also count me in.

Considering it sold out immediately on release, I am surprised no one is interested in a possible re-release, it is after all Goldsmith!

Not just reissue- but maybe another fine tuning would help since we have better tools for mastering and mixing nowadays and also add to it the Album OST edit as 2nd cd.

it is a story out there in Hollywood..When Irwin Allen asked Johnny T. Williams to look at The Swarm...After viewing Allen’s Surprise Comedy Hit...Johnny T..told Irwin ..”No Fucking way would I score this massive Bullshit...Johnny T. Continued on and said to Allen..give it to Goldsmith..he will score anything!

Not sure how true that it...lol

Sorry, no interest in either rereleased, they both sound fine to me & that's more than good enough, if there was plans to release, I'm not digging these again.

Well, this means another JG score, so I'm already on board! I'll have zee moolah ready when released.

I'm all for re releases if its all worth while, the Swarm would have to have a substantial amount of music for me to buy it again, I only bought the 40th Omen again as its my favourite by Goldsmith, the amount of music extra was pitiful really, but i gave in to that one.

As if I don't get enough flak from my friends over the "junk" soundtracks I own--but WE know that a junk movie can often yield a solid gold soundtrack. (I mean if the likes of Goldsmith and John Barry, no strangers to flops, waited for the "perfect" movie to come along, they'd have spent the downtime giving music lessons to kids. An imperfect movie can be an ideal vehicle for expression and experimentation.)

There is no missing music on the Prometheus as far as I know. However the LLL release will presumably sound better and will presumably include the rare WB LP program :-)

It is more to do with making them available again, particularly Innerspace, at a reasonable price for those who missed them the first time round.

This is a good outlook of the profession.

That's a bummer then no new material found, I like the Promethus sound its pretty crisp, nice. I also love Goldsmith but not enough for a re release, it'd be the same with Towering Inferno, no extra no buy.

I wish another label would release a expanded score to Innerspace and redo the mastering on it, since the LLL one is ehhh at best. I was not happy that the mixing was subpar. Igoe's cues mixed way down and lost like a sound effect in another room and some of the synths too are mixed down. This is one reason that I haven't been listening to their cd at all. I would always go to the Geffen album that I have on lp, cd and cassette.

The one thing I don't like about LLL is taking music from film negatives are releasing them as cd albums. There is a difference in volume mix downs and selections that sound flat and horrible. I usually skip past the flat and horrible ones.
