I figured it was only a matter of time before Paramount gave in. Scott's airtight horticultural recording clause got him canned from Iron Man 3 after Feige dropped by for the recording session and learned that Scott's modest garden only allowed for a "Gentleman's Quartet" of five musicians, so I for one am glad that Hollywood has finally welcomed him back. Maybe this is another turning point for the artform, similar to John Williams' Star Wars score turning back the clocks and reminding audiences of the worth of orchestral film music.

That's a ripe tomatah, Maestro!

This is a campaign that has been gathering moss for some time now.
It seemed only a matter of time before John Scott bagged himself a big Hollywood A-list blockbuster.
People think FSM has no say on the world film music stage, but just ask Brett Ratner (and now Tom Cruise) how important WE REALLY ARE in the grand scheme of things.

Yep. Nothing says “2018 summer action blockbuster” like John Scott.

Nothing says "summer action blockbuster" like the sixth film in a line of a stale franchise.

Quite right!

Except for the stale part.

The Mission: Impossible franchise is anything but stale.

Indeed. It’s rare that a franchise gets better with time. The last one was excellent.

Mission: Impossible has only produced one complete and utter dud over its 20+ year film franchise run and it was over 15 years ago to boot. I look forward to this intently.

I’m still trying to forget that one. What a colossal misfire that was. I’m glad the Woo days are behind us.
