Now that I finally have a working BR player--I'll buy a copy of TLJ.

That title scans perfectly to the Oliver song.

Who will buy
The Last Jedi blu ray
Canto Bight
I'm longing to see

Who will try
to find it in Best Buy
And put it in their cart for me?

No, I will NOT be buying TLJ.

However, it has proven "inspirational" enough that I have purchased Star Wars stuff I DO like, such as the Russ Manning and Archie Goodwin-Al Williamson comic strip books. I've waited decades for these strips to receive the quality publication they deserve.

Sort of washes the horrible taste of TLJ out of my mouth.

I won't.

I have exactly one STAR WARS film in my collection, and that is an ATTACK OF THE CLONES DVD that I once got for free. That's it. I once had a VHS box of the original trilogy, but that's long since gone.

I've always intended to get the films in physical format, but I see no reason to do so untill the 'official timeline' is done. Which means I'll probably get a BluRay box of all 9 films after the next one.

Of course, there may still be other films after that; and there's also all the spinoff movies, but I'll have to draw a line somewhere. I'm confident they'll pump out new films (and reissues of old ones) untill the day I die.

I am sure they'll go on after that. smile

Most likely, yes.

Very doubtful. I’ll wait to watch it in a year or two when it’s free on the movie channels, and if we really really like it, maybe then. We watched The Force Awakens and Rogue One at the cinema and were sufficiently discouraged from repeating the experience with future SW releases.

I will buy it, and one day I will see it again. I have every other STAR WARS movie on Blu-ray so far, so yeah, I'm going to get this. The series must stay complete.

Not for me but I will be getting the Blu-ray of 'Deadfall with it's superb John Barry score.

Yes - 3D version on day of release. Loved it.

I will wait for the inevitable special 3D version coming out in the fall with extra features, and deleted scenes.

And if they don't do that well...I'll pick up the non-3D version sometime second hand next year.

I'm going to buy it eventually, but looking for a good sale or price drop. Still haven't picked up Rogue One - I can watch it on Netflix when I want to until I find a good enough deal to own it.

Liked it a lot.

I won't be buying the blu-ray, but that's because we'll buy it digitally on Amazon Prime. So we can watch it at home on TV or tablet and my daughter can watch it with friends at college.

I'm increasingly a convert to digital video, and updating a lot of our favorites to this format. Especially because we use modest-sized screens, so the blu-rays we do have are kind of a wasted investment, can't tell much difference, given my equipment and my eyes.

Oooh, did they finally reprint that stuff on nice stock? Last I saw of it was in the early 90s on Dark Horse Comics.
