I really recommend these two beautiful works; 'Twisted Nerve', for example, is absolutely amazing, in addition to the complete 40-minute soundtrack, it still has 80 minutes of alternate work!
You know... I was ready to order TWISTED NERVE Deluxe for £39.99. But then I saw that I had to chip in with over 25% of that for shipping (namely £11.80). So as of now: No, thanks.
Hmm... what a pity, but there's a lot of stuff in this Super Kit ... it really is a BIG, HEAVY SUPER KIT (in terms of weight and size!), the delivery charge would have to be a little high ...... besides the immense poster, 2 vinyls (alright, I confess that useless for me, because I will never listen to a vinyl in my life again), big cover (yellow or black, your choice), cards, there is still the CD and more codes for you to have in wav and in mp3 the 80 minutes of alternative / unpublished material!

I suppose Stylotone will ignore email inquiries about their plans. Maybe a news leaker (ie Morricone) can supply a real answer instead of the thread deteriorating into the usual uninformed speculation and tangential comments....
That would be nice. Nonetheless, here's my usual uninformed speculation.
Unlike Intrada or La La Land or Varèse or the rest, it seems that the people behind Stylotone are not doing these releases as their full time jobs. These are something of a side business, apparently, as they represent the estates of the composers. So whereas if Intrada went two years between releases, we'd think something must have gone wildly wrong, in the case of Stylotone, it may well just be that they'll get to the others when they get to them.
If true, then why in the world did the Herrmann and Cordell estates go with a bunch of part-time amateurs? They should have gone with the experienced professionals like Intrada, LLL, Varese, Music Box, Quartet etc. We would have had 3 or more Herrmann CDs by now!

All I want is CD's of the scores or even lossless downloads. I don't want to pay a lot of money for vinyl and posters, stuff that will just be clutter. Wierd business model but I guess they rely on fans being unable to resist, regardless of costs. I continue to pass.

I want everything from Herrmann: posters, huge inserts and booklets, colorful vinyls (although I do not listen to them ... it's pretty much hanging on the wall...yellow vinyl gets a cool aesthetic combination), mp3, wav (mainly mp3 and wav, I rarely listen to the 'physical version ' in my computer!). Particularly, I do not really care which label/record can release this material ... I have no psychological connection with gods, or Intrada, La-la Land, Sae, Kritzerland, or even Stylotone etc etc etc, in fact, I like all those labels/records!
Anyway, I know I want one thing: A lot of Herrmann material!!! And really Stylotone did a great job on 'Twisted Nerve'!

What do I do wrong that every time I edit a message, a repetition of my message appears in front of me? How can I have this incredible talent?
Is this another reflection of my inability to adapt to computer technology? Or will it be a reflection of my advanced age? Or both?

We know from MV that LP's are expensive and time consuming to produce and get out for sale. And we also know from passed comments that the niche limited edition releases still are mainly CD sellers, 'cause that's what people (for now) want.
So I'll speculate anyway much to the dismay of a few: Stylotone insists on over doing it with LP's and excess, making any already niche target audience even smaller; who wants the needless junk? Who wants an LP? Who wants to pay the ever increasing shipping costs and import taxes? Mean while they are not recouping the costs put in and are probably questioning whether to even go forward.
They need to follow the tried & true method of other limited-edition specialty labels such as (but not limited to) La La Land Records and Intrada Records and do the gosh-darned best CD they can with liner notes worth a toot and stop with the LP's and kitchen sinks. Though preferably they should just work with labels who already got it down pat (like the two aforementioned labels) and let the labels handle all "work".
