Disney bought the Muppets and Bear in the Big Blue House around 2004. They've never owned anything else.
My Muppets VHS from the early 90s were Disney tapes, exactely the same as Snow White or other Disney Classics (or Roger Rabbit) so that was way before 2004.
But yes, I've just checked, I was wrong, the rest of the company wasn't sold to Disney due the death of Henson despite what had been planned.
A licensing/production deal was part of what little could be salvaged by the companies after the deal to buy Henson outright was scrapped following his death. That's why those VHS tapes have that branding.
