I’m a big fan of his movies -as a guy he comes across as a big dick.
However I would have made precisely the same comments to Octoberman whoever he had made his comments about. And ill tell you why. 6 years ago I had a major falling out with my employer which resulted in a very acrimonious split. They then proceeded to poison potential employer’s against me with a campaign of making baseless accusations and lies. Fortunately not everyone in my industry is a dick and many dismissed these things for what there were - total shit. But I have seen first hand how destructive it can be when stupid morons make accusations -they spread and before long, in certain quarters, they become fact.
Now, just for the record, if Cameron or any other filmmaker I admire turned out to be genuinely a sex pest I would have no further interest in their work at all, and they deserve all they get. But until that time, the only people who should be making the accusations are those who have directly suffered, not people who believe they can deduce something just because they have squinty eyes or whatever the fuck Octoberman was basing his pathetic comments on.

To be honest I may just keep on walking - my exchange with him has made me awake to the fact that, just because someone has the same interest in music as me, doesn’t stop me from finding them irritating little pricks, so I think I’ll take a leave of absence from FSM for a while. Mike, we all have bad days where things grind our gears and we react, when, in hindsight, its a nuffin about nuffin and on another day it would blow over us.
