Most if not all would have to be rerecordings: Bernard: Beneath the 12 Mile Reef, It's Alive. Alfred Newman: Captain From Castille, Leave Her to Heaven, Keys of the Kingdom, How the West Was Won, Hunchback of Notre Dame, Diary of Anne Frank. Rozsa: Golden Voyage of Sinbad, definitely. Friedhofer: Rains of Ranchipur. Not sure how this isn't as embraced as other scores in the same vein.

I'd like the COMPLETE Complete (Original Tracks) Re-Recording with Album Version + Demos + Kareoke + Unused Score + Rejected Score + International Score Wouldn't that be a great release. Oh yeah, the Complete Complete? I already have my wallet out.

acathla, did you know Shearmur scored a pilot for that film, too? A short clip from the recent "Cruel Intentions" pilot which didn't air and didn't get picked up for a series. There's some of the score in it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s0tufq7K2aQ (looks like a picture from her time during "Buffy the Vampire Slayer")

A neat list, Wagner, though I still have reservations about re-recording Newman (though I wouldn't mind one for Mark of Zorro), and hopefully LLL will clear things out for their expanded Anne Frank soon. As for Friedhofer, I'm not too familiar with Ranchipur, but I would very much like a re-recording of Joan of Arc, which I think you might like if it ever gets released as it is very Rozsa-esque (It's also the best thing about the film it accompanies along with Ingrid Bergman's Joan). The film will be getting a Blu-ray release in late-March if you want to give it a shot. http://www.blu-ray.com/news/?id=22658 Edit: You can also listen to the film's overture (titled "Gothic Prelude" here): http://hugofriedhofer.runmovies.eu/?p=673

And I'd go ape over a LLL Anne Frank...but a rerecording, perhaps doubled with, say, Keys of the Kingdom, would be a Graal for me.

Not to sound like a broken record, but the one that would make a real difference to have would be Kamen "Highlander". I'm with you on that! I'd also love to hear George Fenton's rejected Interview With The Vampire.

Two that rarely get mentioned and I'd like to believe that someone has them in the works: THE THOMAS CROWN AFFAIR remake (Bill Conti) - badly served on the existent album with less than 15 minutes of score. PLUTO NASH (John Powell) - come on, it's John Powell!

So did you pick up the great Screen Archives Keys of the Kingdom release? Yavar Ewps, I didn't know there was an SA KotK! I bought the Tsunami before I knew about Tsunami (ugh). Obviously a big mistake, because the sound on that is truly abysmal.
