I, being an actor myself, have gone through the drive-thru at McDonald's and ordered using an english accent before. Just in a silly mood I guess and perhaps I was being a tad smug myself. In the end I think he was just having a little fun and was not doing anything harmful. Yes, Horner and Elmer could turn it up and bring it down on occasion, but hell we still loved them anyway. So is there a running joke about this or something? Elmer spent his summers in England in later years.
