In each of the years 1979-81, Heather Menzies appeared in a single episode of her husband Robert Urich's ABC TV series, "Vega$". In 1982, she had a bit part, as "Susan," in Urich's feature film ENDANGERED SPECIES. The film was about a retired New York cop (Urich) on vacation in America's West who is drawn into a female sheriff's (JoBeth Williams) investigation of a mysterious series of cattle killings.
Alan Rudolph directed the film, which has an unreleased score by Gary Wright.
Heather Menzies appeared in an episode of Robert Urich's television series "Spenser: For Hire" in 1987. In 1990, after appearing in an episode of the series "American Dreamer," Menzies retired from acting at the age of 41.
