There have been reports that Amazon delivery personnel may be required to deliver 400 packages a day. For an 8-hour day, that would be a package every 72 seconds, without a break. Drivers have been known to urinate in plastic bottles in their delivery vehicles so that they can finish at a reasonable hour.

Forget the relative comedy of the Amazon woman (tee hee!) and instead focus on the Orwellian, HAL-from-2001: A Space Idiocy totalitarian eye of the surveillience camera. Now THAT'S the gross part of this story.

BTW, dragon53's posted TWO threads on delivery ineptitude. Perhaps he's had some packages lost upon "delivery."

If this is the case, do one on FedEx, too. wink

Keepin’ it classy, dragon53, with the usual suspects lapping up your incontinence.

I like how Amazon describes the incident as "a lack of professionalism." No. Tossing, instead of laying down, somebody's package is a lack of professionalism. This is defecating in front of somebody's house.

Sounds like they need the Hardy Boys to solve this mystery:

I like how Amazon describes the incident as "a lack of professionalism."

wrong, that's what the customer called it.

The article wasnt written much better:
"...he found what appeared to be dog poop at the bottom of his driveway. When he looked at the footage in his security camera, however, he found a dissatisfying surprise."
What would make it a satisfying surprise?

And maybe it was part of Amazon's educational package when delivering this kids book-

Skimming combined with the previous paragraph leading with Amazon as the subject and the fact that the quote itself, attributing the incident to a third-party, sounds like what you would hear from the culpable company as opposed to the wronged customer. As you say: not the most soundly written of articles.

I didnt mean to "blame" you for misidentifying the speaker. Along with the poorly written article, I agree it's an odd customer comment, more akin to a company downplaying the incident. The average customer's comments would be unprintable.
