Eloquent and powerful testimony by a brave filmmaker. It teaches us much about the movie business. Composer Elliot Goldenthal is mentioned briefly for standing up on behalf of Julie Taymor.

I read that bit yesterday and I thought that her comments were very eloquent and even-tempered, but it was the bit about Goldenthal that gave me enormous satisfaction.
I wish there were more specifics about EG's specific action, but in lieu of that I will just have to enjoy imagining how he did what was necessary.
It's similar, in a way, to Brad Pitt's reported reaction when he learned Weinstein was hitting on Gwyneth Paltrow.
Another stand-up guy, I think.
Knowing there are still men who can do the right thing makes me feel like the situation out there is a little less hopeless.
Weinstein belongs in an institution.

Hayek on Weinstein

No, it's a trap! Get off him, Hayek!

Run someplace! Someplace that doesn't have plants indoors.

They're supposed to be disturbing.
