Snow?!? SNOW?!? I'm still running the air conditioning!
Yeah, I remember what that's like...but then I moved from South Florida to Central Texas (strictly my wife's idea), and so Thursday night, what I had was snow. It sat there on the ground until well into the next day, but gone now. How's your weather now?

Presently it's 48 degrees; time to shovel the palm fronds from the walkway.

That's pretty damn cold regardless!
In February 2009 (IIRC) Miami had temperatures in the 20s! Sure, it's not that cold if you're from Minnesota, but I'd hate to be a snowbird coming to Miami expecting warm, sunny weather!
The first cold weather of the year and absolute chaos ensues. Iced up slopes are impassable and just one snowflake ensures culture shock hits hard. Having said that, I found it impossible to walk normally on the pathway - everywhere is full of icy slush that makes treading along that much more difficult. I nearly slipped over a couple of times. If it snowed properly, it would be easier to move around, but iced up slush is never a good thing.
