Before the film came out La La Land (Records) always appeared on top in a Google search. Since the film came out, the entire first page is nothing but links for the gawd dang film!
There's a new green background to the login 'pop' window. In addition, the board feels like the tin man with a gallon of oil lathered on, smoothing up the joints. Like it's been unharnessed from heavy labor, or something. Anyone else get that feeling?

The green, green grass of home. The green leaves of summer. Message, Spock?
In fairness to the movie, I tried to watch it at least 3 times, and ended up dreaming of green. During one of the stints attempting to absorb La La Land (the movie), I listened in to the film-makers voice-overs and marvelled at the homage to all the great musicals they praised as part inspiration to their current effort, only to wonder how on earth they ended up boring me to green. For me, definitely a forgettable experience - I wish it could have been otherwise - I couldn't see any overall coincidence with the movies of old that reputedly spawned it. Despite the color and perspectives something was amiss.
I thought this might be a thread about how La-La Land (the label) keeps sending emails out promising presents. Every time I get a "La-La Land presents" email I get excited. I say to myself "I like presents". But every time I end up disappointed. I open the email and... no presents! Sometimes there are some really good prices, but has anyone ever given a present, then said, "that will be $3, please" (plus shipping & handling)? I know I've never, when, after blowing out the candles on my birthday cake, accepted a present and then paid the person giving it to me. Any dollars.
