I'm pleased to see that Danny Elfman is scoring next year's animated film version of HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS.

Please NO! The original is a classic. Needs no other adaption, remake or reboot. The Ron Howard, Jim Carey movie gets my "Jar Jar Binks" film award. It's cringe worthy!

/shrug/ The original will still be on my shelf. I didn't care for Ron Howard's when it was in theaters. Maybe this will be good. I really liked Horton Hears a Who, and really disliked The Lorax, so they're batting .500 with Seuss animated features.

Now an Elfman Christmas score...that's something I can be very enthusiastic about!

Funny, I liked The Lorax but thought Horton was obnoxious.
Hopefully, this new Grinch is good - I'm really excited to hear what Elfman does with it!
