Throughout the past year, we have all experienced highs and lows. Whether it was the loss of a loved or the birth of a child, life somehow finds an even patch of ground to land upon. Personally, our family lost someone too soon but we were blessed with the birth of two beautiful babies. These events assured me that life goes on and so must I.
I am particularly grateful this year for finding this balance and inner peace. My wish for everyone here is that you too find peace and balance. I also want to share how grateful I am for the kind words and sentiments that have been expressed to me by so many of you on this board this year. I am grateful to know you.

I know where you're coming from, EDW. My father passed in August and my siblings and I had to place my 90 year-old invalid mother in a nursing home down in Florida. A very emotional time for us all.
Today, though, we're all getting together to celebrate that life marches on for the rest of us. We still have much to be thankful for and I never complain about anything lacking in my life. I'm looking forward to the Christmas season as I always enjoy it. Happy Thanksgiving!
EDW, loved your sentiments and message about balance. Adam B. the loss of a father and having to move your mother brings back many sad memories of my parents. So sorry for your loss.
But we do move on and try to find happiness and peace in the present. Happy Thanksgiving to all of you.

Thanksgivng (USA edition) falls on the fourth Thursday of November, old stick.
I had my Thanksgiving meal at an Irish pub/restaurant and had a delightful meal (and a couple of Guinness stouts as well).
