Over at Screen Archives I noticed a price drop on the following titles to $1.95 - a stellar deal. I haven't jumped on any yet, as I'm waiting for Black Friday - but I feel that you should all know if case you've been waiting on some of these. I'm sure some of you have noticed already.
This one is an absolute joy to my ears, as if it was a (wonderful) tribute to Basil Poledouris's simple and accessible dramatic mastery, combined with some John Powell stylings. One of my favorite scores from 2015.

Thanks to the OP and the recommendation. The samples are Fantastic!

I think I must have heard this score on Cinematic Sound Radio and promptly brought it. Highly recommended.
Not the first time this has happened. Listening to this does result in me spending money.
Looks like the fine folks over at SAE have added a new label option titled MOVIE MEDIA 2 that now collects 97 titles priced to sell at $2 a pop.
I grabbed a whole bunch of them which were on my wish list. Great sale, but the domestic shipping charges were obscenely high. Almost canceled my order. But doing the math it worked out to $4 dollars a CD. Still a bargain.
Very-good deals here, Thanks, I picked up a top-class score by Pemberton not long ago, at $1.95, score/deals of this quality are definitely worth looking into.
Been playing "TOM SAWYER & HUCKLEBERRY FINN" by Robert Gulya. Wonderful score! My only slight criticisms is it only has one dominate theme and it's pretty much identical for what he did with Atom Nine.
For other scores in the batch, "Flicka 2" is quite lovely. So far I'm enjoying "Eye of the Eagle" too.
I picked up 10 discs for $2 a piece when they did a different sale a while back. Most, if not all the titles I bagged had some great tracks of merit. The Richard Harvey adventure score is cool and The Lightkeepers by Pinar Toprak is lovely, once you get over the fact it might have been written by Thomas Newman (on an exceptionally good day)
