Oy. That's disappointing.

I'd love to be proven wrong.

Or right. Or whatever gets me a 'complete' 2010 for real.

There are a couple of reasons why I think it may still be coming out. While my own giant hopes may colour my thoughts, they seem pretty secure. First, why would Creature Features say on the advertisement that the CDs will be announced on Nov. 26 or whatever it is? If there are CDs to be announced, surely it would be something that has not had a release like all the rest on the poster have had. Second, the picture used could just be a placeholder because the final image was not sent to them yet. MV did state for La La Land that some titles are coming down to the wire. Maybe that is why a real image is not being used. Of course, La La Land could have just gotten the rights to re-release one of his other scores. I really do hope that it's coming. Also, they could have used All the President's Men instead of 2010, which is probably easier to track down in order to get signed.

It's not realistic at all in context of the full story, which we now have. The wrong image was used — none of the other titles there are new releases. The Shire event is separate from anything else being released.

Don't let wishful thinking cloud your judgment.

Let me just lay the rumor to rest: It's not happening. CF just used a flashy image for the art. That's s all. Read nothing into it.

Doors closed on both 2010 and Armageddon in one day. Damn. Oh well, two grail I can forget about for awhile.

Y'know Intrada has released a lot of Shire and they occasionally use "complete" on their covers, usually for MAF expansions of classic scores...that's my bet.

Yavar

I think you'll lose that bet^. La-La land's on the event poster and the CDs that will be available on the day will be announced the same day La-La Land announce their 5 Black Friday releases.

Just kidding.

At least it's a real album. Who would buy it with that cover though? 2010 looked better on there!

Well, OLD BOYFRIENDS is a drama so you cant really blame it too much for the unexciting artwork. But it's one of those rare soundtracks I enjoy alot without having seen the film.
I'm still hoping for his TVscore for "Isnt it Shocking?" which he said might be in a toolshed in the backyard. A couple similar riffs in it.

There's a joke about a crack team of researchers and a research team on crack. Just sayin'.
