This is a set of CD issues of a ten LP series released in 1981. This happens to be the second time this ten LP series was released in CD format. In the mid 90's, SLC released CD issues of these LPs under a different name: The Film Works by Akira Ifukube. All but the first two volumes featured greatly expanded content, not included with the LPs.
Unlike SLC's series, this ten CD box set will feature exact reproductions of the original LPs, including the original album artworks and music contents. This means that the discs will not feature the expanded content found with SLC's series. I did confirm this by visiting King Records' website, which has a track listing for this set. The track lists for each disc reveal the exact same content that the LP's had.
