Whaaaat? James is a sneaky fellow...acted like he might do King of Kings if someone else paid for it, but said Luc at Prometheus was done. So I guess somebody ponied up...but who?
Fantastic news! Some suggestions about raising money, which I've posted before and have probably been thought about: Possible to use the mailing list from Tadlow to drum up support and posting on other forums e.g. Filmtracks? I'm sure there would be interest on classical boards to support this and also among composers on social media? Seth MacFarlane might be interested if you send out a tweet to him? With a bit of effort I'm sure the snow ball effect will kick up and the number that you will need to recover your costs will be surpassed. Also the other labels? Could La La Land and Intrada help with some of the costs? (Not sure this is valid based on the agreement that seems to have been struck).
From out of the blue Tadlow continues with another Miklos Rozsa classic. Who in their right mind would reject any Miklos Rozsa composition whether biblical or film noir ? Good news, indeed. Thanks Tadlow.

Yes I will need to get 50% funding from all the fans of classic film music via Kickstarter.....details to follow next week!
Count me in!!
I will probably set up a monthly direct debit instruction.
I'm ready to donate whenever. Monthly might be best, though, especially next month. Seeing this come up in my notifications brings quite a bit of holiday cheer to my heart, I adore this score.
