The man was cruelly snatched from this world, but he left behind some fantastic music. This is a wonderful surprise. Yes, almost painful to see that cover when you know what happened to him.

Has anyone bought this CD and compared it to the old Cinerama/Edel CD-release from 1994, which did also contain 22 minutes from the score to STEPMONSTER? From the running times it seems that not much - if any - new material from FINAL JUDGEMENT and TERROR WITHIN 2 is on this re-release.

When doing some more internet search, it seems that not only STEPMONSTER was omitted from this release. The first pre-announcement from Howlin' Wolf promised a double CD set, also containing music from BLACK EAGLE (...) and the CONCERTO FOR OBOE AND ORCHESTRA. Seems we got only a "light" version now. Don't complain. I understand what you mean, but it's a miracle we got this album at all. It's awesome as it is anyway and I can't recommend it enough.

I really do not complain. I only would like to know if for some old Plumeri fans (like me), who already have the old album for many many years in their collection, there is something substantial new on this CD.

This sounds intriguing...I've only previously heard of this composer through "Scarecrows", but what the hey, horror scores please me easily.
