TERMINATOR---James Cameron announced Linda Hamilton is returning as Sarah Connor for the new movie that will be a direct sequel to TERMINATOR 2: JUDGMENT DAY, “As meaningful as she was to gender and action stars everywhere back then, it’s going to make a huge statement to have that seasoned warrior that she’s become return. There are 50-year old, 60-year old guys out there killing bad guys [in movies], but there isn’t an example of that for women.”
He added, “We’re starting a search for an 18-something woman to be the new centerpiece of the new story. We still fold time. We will have characters from the future and the present. There will be mostly new characters, but we’ll have Arnold and Linda’s characters to anchor it.”

THE WALKING DEAD---banner released for Season 8 which premieres on October 22.

HAN SOLO---sources said Darth Vader will have a cameo in the movie after an actor in the Darth Vader costume was spotted on the set. Spencer Wilding, who played Vader in ROGUE ONE: A STAR WARS STORY, denied it was him.

THE FIRST---Sean Penn stars in this Hulu/Beau Willimon (HOUSE OF CARDS) sci fi series about the first manned mission to Mars as the first step to colonization.

VALKYRIE---Tom Cruise commented on a post in which someone claims he used a "fake butt" in VALKYRIE, “I have no idea. There was no prosthetic in VALKYRIE. No.”

FANTASTIC FOUR---Matthew Vaughn, producer of the ill-fated 2015 reboot movie, wants another crack at it, “I wouldn’t mind maybe making a Fantastic Four film to apologize to everyone out there that maybe it didn’t go very well for them. It’s brilliant. One of my favorites is the Fantastic Four, so maybe one day I’ll try and rectify the mistake.”

CHARLATAN---Matt Damon stars in this movie about charlatan Dr. John R. Brinkley who made a fortune with his cure for impotence which involved implanted goat testicles. His downfall began when some of his patients died.

WONDER WHEEL---poster released for the Woody Allen/Amazon movie.

Do people really have so much time on their hands that they speculate about a fake ass?

*remembers Star Trek II*

I guess it isn't unprecedented, even when the body part is in clear view and obviously not fake.

He added, “We’re starting a search for an 18-something woman to be the new centerpiece of the new story. We still fold time. We will have characters from the future and the present. There will be mostly new characters, but we’ll have Arnold and Linda’s characters to anchor it.”

So it's yet another retooled iteration. Give it a damn rest.

So far I like where the new Terminator film project is going. Now they need to ask Brad Fiedel to score it.

If Wilding denies his involvement then it might be Daniel Naprous. Naprous was supposed to be attending the London Film and Comic Con this year but cancelled. He cancelled quite late actually so my guess is that he cancelled because of that movie appearance. It makes sense. But I don`t know.

Again, it's not always a good thing to follow in "mans footsteps". Grandma action hero is just as ridiculous as Grandpa action hero.

Yeah, but in this case, you could have her fall down and break a hip and she gets it replaced with whatever-the-hell metal the cyborgs are made of (was it titanium?), and now she's part cyborg too, and it just gets sillier and sillier. Some Cameron fans would call it a masterpiece!

Actually, I'm surprised Cameron would be having anything to do with Hamilton, as I understand their divorce wasn't exactly amicable, but maybe he needs to throw here a few bones, especially in case she breaks a hip or something.

Not that I care about their personal life, but I think he cheated on her by banging the blonde playing the daughter of Rose in Titanic. But money speaks....

I read an interview in which he said he'd never score another Terminator film. I'd like to see him change his mind, but he's probably sick of it. I saw a twenty-minute interview in which every question was about the Terminator scores, as if that's all he ever did!
