Hey all, my latest episode of "The Music of" is live, I love this score, and thought I'd share my thoughts on it!

One thing has always bothered me with the otherwise-excellent Gerhardt recording of The Empire Strikes Back. That's the abrupt start of the track "Luke's First Crash" where it sounds like the part of the opening note has been cut off.

Yeah, I noticed in in Empire the music is much more balanced and choreographed than a new hope. I know I am referencing the more readily available recordings, but the cuts they made for timing feel much better this time around, with much more care.
