Anybody heard any news about when the soundtrack is getting released or what format it will be? It must be getting a release, surely, and I would imagine we should be hearing some news around now with just, what, 7 weeks to go till the films release date?
I admit, I fear it will be such an authentic Blade Runner soundtrack that it won't get released for another twelve years, just like the Vangelis original...
Well, we should be expecting a sort of jazz-symphonic reimagining of the score any day now. Then you can expect portions of the score proper (with a few new pieces and artfully placed film dialogue!) in about twelve years.
