Wow. Riches is right, and I'm so embarrassed I'm blushing. Nu, where did you find this, and what was the occasion? The only gentleman I don't recognize is the handsome, silver-haired fellow between Darby and North.

If memory serves, it was taken at a party at Alfred Newman's house. The "A"-team @ Twentieth Century Fox. This photo seems to me to be from the early 1950s, maybe even prior to 1953(?). Upon seeing this I'm curious as to Sol Kaplan's absence; perhaps this occurred after the blacklisting of Kaplan or else Sol wasn't invited. Leigh Harline (amongst others, such as Cyril Mockridge) might also not have been invited. Since David Raksin's contract with Fox was finished during 1949, Raksin began working for MGM from 1950 onwards (which might account for Raksin not being present in this photo, too). Alex North's attendance @ Alfred Newman's home most likely occurred after his scoring of Kazan's films (I doubt North would have been there prior to A Streetcar Named Desire), so - again - this makes me think of 1952 or '53. What does any other FSMer think? Could this photo have been taken in 1951 or 1954? Any verification would be appreciated ...
