At first I thought it was a built set, from the looks of the lighting, but it's said to actually be a church in Barcelona. Kind of eerie for an OMEN performance. The holy paintings and statues must have been horrified.

Actually, piano only and choir perform ...

You are correct gyorgyL. Thanks. Some of the music performed is quite horrific and yet the whole concept of this group of people doing this is incredibly interesting and bizarre. I am mesmerized and strangely find it immensely captivating. I'm finding the guy sitting in the front row on the left and the lady to his right just a tad creepy as they, from time to time, look back and seem to be staring at me. I think I might like to buy the "Piper's Dream" soloist a drink or perhaps grab some fries and a shake with her somewhere. Am I crazy? I guess it's just the idea that they are doing it in a Catholic Church that somehow seems wrong to me for some reason.

Zooba - I saw this video a while ago before you posted it ...it is rather strange to see this performed in a church .. im not a religious person but does seem odd to say the least

Ewww, awful.

I have a hunch that they have no clue what they are actually singing? Kinda out of place in a church!

Utterly dreadful performance, to boot, in terms of both musicality and presentation. In regards to the former, their sense of ensemble blending is nil, and to the latter...I've never seen so many heads crammed down into the music books. Eyes up people! Look at your conductor and sing to the audience, let them see your faces.

It's almost as if dark forces are at work... for god's sake, DON'T let them see your faces eek

Every Spanish person knows at least the gist of Latin from their own language.

I think it's bizarre. I'm an eclectic sort of person, but 'Ave Satan' in a church? It's not as if Good triumphs in the end. The movie may be tongue-in-cheek, but the place is liturgical.

Contrast it with this little furore recently in just a deconsecrated building:

Goldsmith or no, I have no taste for the exorcism/occult movie no matter how satirical.

Weird. Somebody thinks they're pushing an envelope.

Neither do I. I've always been disappointed that Goldsmith received his one and only Oscar for this rather for one of his many and more uplifting scores.

Half of Catalonians want independence from Spain, so perhaps this is part of a pact with the devil to achieve it. Weird indeed the church thing, and an awful performance on top of that!
