FAHRENHEIT 451---photo released of Michael Shannon and Michael B. Jordan starring in the movie based on the Ray Bradbury novel.
JAMES BOND---Christopher Nolan commented on Tom Hardy being the next James Bond, “He’d be amazing. He really would.” Earlier, Hardy said about playing 007, "I'd love to play Bond with Chris Nolan (as a) director or something, it would be awesome."
Nolan confirmed that he has talked to Bond producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli about directing a Bond movie.
STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI---Lucasfilm's Pablo Hidalgo provided details on the sequel's lovable creatures who are the idea of director Rian Johnson, "Porgs are native to Ahch-To, and can be found dwelling along the cliffs of the island where Luke and Rey are. In many ways, they’re the Star Wars version of puffins. They build nests. They can fly. Their babies are called porglets… Given how rarely their island has visitors, their curiosity outweighs any skittishness they may have… Ever since that roadside scavenger let out that belch outside Jabba’s palace in Return of the Jedi, the idea that there’s an entire animal kingdom living amid the drama and adventure of the Star Wars saga is a compelling one. Besides, porgs are cute. You fall into those deep, soulful eyes. I think a lot of people are going to want a porg as a pet."
VAN HELSIG---Channing Tatum is under consideration to star in the Universal Pictures Dark Universe reboot movie. Hugh Jackman and Kate Beckinsale starred in the disappointing 2004 movie.
CHAOS WALKING---Mads Mikkelsen is in talks to play the ruthless mayor of Prentisstown in the movie based on the novel which also stars Daisy Ridley and Tom Holland.
THE FLASH---DC Films head Geoff Johns said his favorite director is Robert Zemeckis which added to the rumor that Zemeckis is the lead candidate to direct THE FLASH movie. Johns also said he would like to make a Hulk movie if he could get the rights from Marvel Comics.
02---Anne Hathaway stars in this sci fi movie about a woman who wakes up in a cryogenic chamber, has no idea why she is in it and must escape before her oxygen gives out.
THE HURRICANE HEIST---heist movie underway in which an ex-Marine, a female Treasury agent and a meteorologist team up to stop a $600 million heist at a US mint as a deadly hurricane strikes. Ryan Kwanten, Maggie Grace and Toby Kebbel star. Rob Cohen (THE FAST AND THE FURIOUS) is the director.
DOCTOR DOOM---Noah Hawley (LEGION) said he's developing a Doctor Doom movie for 20th Century Fox, “I wanted to let you know about a movie I’m developing for Fox. The first word is ‘Doctor.’ And the second is ‘Doom.’”
THE KID---Dane DeHaan and Ethan Hawke star in this Western movie about a young boy who asks Billy the Kid to help save his family. Vincent D'Onofrio is the director.
GORE---Kevin Spacey will star in this Netflix biomovie about Gore Vidal.
CONSUMED---AMC series underway based on the David Cronenberg novel about two journalists who try to solve the cannibalistic murder of a controversial French philosopher.
Cronenberg is the executive producer and may direct.
ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT---Jason Bateman gave a preview of Season 5, “The central spine of that story of is the death of Liza Minnelli’s [Lucille 2] character, and a bit of whodunit, who may have done it, who had something to do with it. That’s sort of a central thread around which [creator Mitch Hurwitz] is going to braid in all the colorful plot complications that he knows how to do.”
THE ORIGINALS---CW cancelled the series.
AMERICAN HORROR STORY: CULT---is the title for Season 7.
BOMBSHELL---Warner Bros. movie underway about a secret government program that recruits top pioneering female celebrities to become spies that will stop a billionaire from extorting the world's leaders to develop a global police that that he will control.

I saw that trailer and thought: now there's a weird and possibly interesting project to bring Will Smith's career back from the bowels of Hollywood. But then I looked at his IMDb page and saw he has "Bad Boys 4" coming up and will play the genie in another "Aladdin" remake. Well, swing and a miss, Smith.
