...ing?

To me, I always saw a Caveman telling stories by a fire in the Amazing Stories Main Title opening scored by John Williams. Being on an AS kick for the last few weeks, I've been revisiting the episodes and their scores and pondering all that is Amazing Stories. And so I noticed that in Jon Burlingame's notes for AS Soundtrack CD Anthology #3 on page 4 (of the booklet) in describing "Amazing Stories Main Title Alternate #2" he says "Williams wrote three different openings......designed to give Spielberg options of mood for the images of a Native American weaving tales around a campfire hundreds of years in the past......."

I always thought that was supposed to be a Caveman and played by Ray Walston, Uncle Martin (My Favorite Martian) himself.

To you all out there, is it a Caveman or a Native American?

Thanks.

I always thought it was a cave/early-man type dude telling the first tales.

Can I get a Caveman....can I get a Native American.......?

Yeah, I'm still going with Caveman.

I've heard others say it was Joey Bishop as opposed to Ray Walston.
