What part of decades of fan complaining and legitimate criticisms, made him think that was going to happen?

And no, it's not okay. Yes, we know the Klingons have different houses and we've seen a tribble-ton of them and they all look pretty much the damn same.

No, like a bunch of things we've seen so far from video and images, it looks nothing like the fucking Prime Timeline, it looks like the alternate J.J.-verse timeline. Hell, I'm not the only one to notice -- take this for example:
https://www.trekbbs.com/threads/kelvin-timeline-all-but-confirmed.287841/

If they wanted to do a J.J.-verse Trek, they should have done a J.J.-verse Trek. Instead they've decided to alienate fans who stuck with the Prime Timeline even after two terrible spinoff series and Nemesis.

“In the different versions of Trek, the Klingons have never been completely consistent.”

So the lasting consistency from TNG through Enterprise didn't happen? Okay...

And Deep Space Nine.

And Voyager.

And seven Goddamn Trek films spanning two series.

And it's repeating the sins of "Enterprise". Way to go, J.J.er's.

I can't tell if the new design is awful or just funny to look at. He reminds me of a burnt dog biscuit, for some reason. big grin

The redesigned Klingon looks like an alien prune to me.

The Klingons in STD's trailer? We're supposed to think they're the Big Bad, if I remember from seeing it a while back. They're supposed to be the scary villains. But the trailer highlights their stereotypical, exaggerated "black" African-like features and dark complexions, and thus I'm pretty sure they can't be the real villain. I'm guessing these Klingons turn out to be noble, good, and true, after a bunch of red herrings have led us to think they're evil. And won't we be surprised! What fools we were!

This still on? Good god, when will this nasty HBO and Netflix bilge finally end? The populous sure is welcoming to being brainwashed into being OK with backstabbing, corruption, power games and war. Gets them all into the right mood for the coming conflicts with Russia and Iran like the good little cannon fodder the deep state wants them to be. Keep running those keyboards sissy mary Silicon Valley hipsters. Your masters are pleased.

Is it okay to watch The Leftovers or Fargo or Glow? What are we allowed to watch? Do you tinfoil your entire house or just wear a hat? Who are the masters? Are you a master? You didn't know it was still on? If you watch a program for 10 hours out of a year how are you brainwashed? Are you brainwashed? What do you wash your brain with? Should we avoid big pharma brainwashing and go all natural locally sourced brainwashing. If we can't get cannon what other kind of fodder should we use? Who is sissy Mary? Is that homophobia? Is Silicon Valley where they make the boobs? Etc etc etc
