I doubt Spielberg or John Williams would allow a hack to brickwall this re-master.
When the 30th anniversary DVD box of Close Encounters of the Third Kind included a soundtrack CD, it sounded great, and was presumably remastered by Sony.
I know this one guy who both Spielberg and Williams will allow to work on any of their cd remasters etc. Im not worried.
Its ok remastering if there's enough extra music, there is so many releases to cd/lp, the SACD hybrid sounds fine, I like E.T. but no substantial material is found I'll pass.
