I'm a lifelong film fan & have quite a few blu-rays (& a few DVDs where I'm waiting for a Blu-ray)...but no Criterions! I won't buy the US discs as they're region locked, & Criterion UK have yet to release something I want. Oh well, it's going to happen sometime.
Rameau: Criterion's new Bergman set is region free. This is hopefully a precedent for future releases.
The fault is all mine, I can be quite posh when it comes to music, but I'm very mainstream with movies. I don't have any Bergman or Fellini, & my favourite Blu-ray purchase so far this year is the German release of Taras Bulba (1962), (with proper stereo sound, unlike the other Blu-ray releases). I would have bought the Criterion releases of, Blow-Up, All That Jazz, War & Peace & A Matter Of Life & Death if they'd released them in the UK.
