Roger says:

2-CD set to a sci-fi TV series spanning 10 years in the late 90s to late 00s featuring an Intrada regular.

The only thing that comes to mind is Stargate SG1 but I don't think Joel Goldsmith is an Intrada mainstay.

That is the only thing that comes to mind. 10 years in late 90s? Maybe it "features" a Dennis McCarthy score?

Richard Band did 14 scores acc. to IMDB for SG1. I've got more Intrada Band albums than I think I can count.

At least one of his SG1 scores (Cold Lazarus) made it to the Crescendo Best Of Season One SG1 disc way back when.

Yeah, this one gets my vote and my money.

U.S. (which I assume Intrada is talking about it) science fiction TV series that lasted ten or more years, via wikipedia:

"The X-Files" (already handled/being handled by LLLR)
"Stargate: SG1"

Admittedly I scanned over it pretty quickly, but I didn't see anything else while doing it. I skipped over cartoons from rights holders we know are hard to work with.

I can't imagine what it would be, since I don't know of a single Joel Goldsmith score from the label (or any other composer from the series, quite frankly, except Richard Band and I doubt it's a set of just Band's scores, especially considering a number of episodes he did with one or even two composers).

True, the clue says "featuring" an Intrada regular, so it could be Band and some of the other composers, as with many other of their TV sets.

Always loved the Crescendo album LeHah mentioned, and all the J Goldsmith Stargate albums. Great to think of more coming.

Heh, I blew right by that part. I think you're right.

I contributed a good deal to the IMDb listing. I found Joel listed incorrectly for episodes he was not credited, and added additional composers to episodes that were missing but credited on screen. I never did finish though. And I never did find out what exactly Ken Harrison contributed (he would have made a hell of a series regular!).

If Band produced the set, it certainly might be just his work.

Always loved the Crescendo album LeHah mentioned, and all the J Goldsmith Stargate albums.

Was always gutted that the "Best Of" album was labeled "Volume One" and none others followed it.

Pointless addendum: One of my favorite bits of film score is the closing credits to SG1.

Further pointless addendum: The original pilot score is pretty terrible (they hacked up David Arnold's film score and jammed it into Joel's score) but I would love to hear the one Joel later wrote for the "re-edited" edition of the pilot (Children Of The Gods?)

If it IS Band, would this be considered "Orchestral Band" or "Bad 90's Synth Band"?

I'd hope he would have had a slightly better budget than he did for all those Full Moon films from around the same time period.

My comment was daft, so now it's gone.

I've been pretty stingy lately, but holy crap! If this is really more Stargate, I'm 100% in! Hopefully we get more of Joel's work released at some point as well.

As I said sometime in the past, if Richard Band is selling, I'm buying.

It would be Good 90's synth Band. If Cold Lazarus is anything to judge by, and it is.

It all points to SG-1, if it gets released indeed, I will purchase this.

Band apparently scored the SG1 episode Upgrades which is incredible fun. Heres hoping.

BTW, 'Bad 90s Synth Band' would make a neat band name.
