I was at the Tanglewood show Saturday night and he said we'll see if he's still around in 2020 for the next Indiana Jones film. He also played The Imperial March for his third encore. Fantastic show!

We are headed to the John Williams concert tonight and I am SO excited. I want to head up there now and get in line but my family talked some sense into me. Here's the program for tonight: "The program will feature classic cinema scores by Erich Korngold, Bernard Herrmann, and Alex North, as well as music by Mr. Williams himself, including selections from the Harry Potter series, E.T., and Far and Away. Also on the program will be music from Mr. Williams' score to Steven Spielberg's Lincoln, with a special guest trumpet soloist." Well have a great time my friend, at let us know how it is. Thanks henry. We had a wonderful time. It was a beautiful night and the crowd was so enthusiastic. My son was pretty excited until he realized that Star Wars was not on the program. However when one of the three encore selections was Darth Vader's Theme, he was all in. To have three encore performances was delightful. My night was absolutely made when Theme From Schindler's List. I was beyond emotional by the beauty of it and the fact that Maestro Williams was conducting. My husband fell in love with the selection from Far and Away. To top it off, the guest trumpet player was none other than Andris Nelsons, the conductor of the BSO. I hated to see the evening end.
