Have you guys listened to the latest edition of THE ANNOTATOR? Every serious film music, TV and video game music fan should subscribe to this podcast immediately.
I just listened to the first one (Pemberton) and I really likde the idea of this show. This is the sort of behind the scenes knowledge that is sometimes missing on this board and in the reviews by Broxton, Clemmensen, Southall et al.
Thanks for doing this Mr Coleman!
PS: There is one moment where Pemberton states something to the degree that melodies are not wanted currently and that he had a bunch of them in his score but then this Guy guy decided to get rid of them. I tried not to cry.
New shows include composer Olivier Deriviere, Neal Acree, Christopher Lennertz, Jeremy Turner, Joel P. West, Gareth Coker, Ryan Shore and Matthew Margeson.
This is right up our alley. Composers talking about their music and how they create them. This is essential listening folks. Anyone else turning in? If you are please help support the program by rating and writing reviews.
It is indeed a great program. Just yesterday I listened to the Gareth Coker one. It is absolutely amazing! Looking forward to more great stuff like this.
