i have found my old l/p of henry the VIII and his six wives. Staring Keith Michell

each band on the album has a list of the instruments used.
I'll list the ones I feel are no longer around on a large scale.

1 )tabor
2) racket
3) sackbuts
4) shawm
5) chalumeau
6) Chinese mouth organ
7) great bass racket
8) drone
9) naker
10) psaltery
11) cittern
12) marina
this is from 1972 l/p
i know i should just look them up.

David Munrow was an enormously gifted composer and early music specialist. In addition Henry VIII he also composed the score for John Boorman's Zardoz, and his work was featured in Ken Russell's The Devils as well. Sadly, Munrow took his own life in the 70s.
