THE BEST OF PETER CETERA

The Greatest Hits Collection To Feature All Of Cetera’s Biggest Chart Hits, Including the #1 Songs “Glory of Love” and “The Next Time I Fall” (with Amy Grant)

(May 17, 2017 – Los Angeles, CA) – Varèse Sarabande will release The Best Of Peter Cetera on CD May 19, 2017, timed to celebrate Peter’s recent induction into the Songwriters Hall of Fame and last year’s induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, along with the original members of his former band, Chicago.

Peter Cetera, born in Chicago, Illinois, is an American singer, songwriter, and bassist. As an original member of the rock band Chicago, he wrote some of the band’s biggest and most memorable hits before launching a successful solo career. Cetera has since scored six Top 40 singles, including two that reached number one on Billboard's Hot 100 chart in 1986, “Glory of Love” and “The Next Time I Fall” (a duet with Amy Grant).

The Best Of Peter Cetera features these tracks and also his #1 AC hits “After All (Love Theme From Chances Are), “One Good Woman,” and “Restless Heart”. Many of Peter’s hits have been featured in film and TV productions including “The Glory Of Love” in The Karate Kid II, “Daddy's Girl” in Three Men And A Baby, “Save Me” which appeared in an episode of Baywatch in 1989, and “Stay With Me” from the Japanese film Princess Of The Moon, all are featured on this recording.

Ordered! One Good Woman is one of my all time favorite songs would love to hear a new beautifully remastered version of the song. All of Cetera's work is pretty much beautiful though so this whole thing will be a treat.

I'm wondering what they mean by "theme" there. That isn't the opening credits song (IIIII'll be reaaaady I'LL BE REAADDDYYYYY) and it's not the end credits song (when you're caught in the current of looooooove).

Cetera's song is not the one you referenced. That is "I'll Be There" which was sung by the late Jimi Jamison from Survivor. Ceter's song was only used for a short time during the series original run, then replace in syndication where the series thrived.

Yes, I was talking about "I'll Be There." What I didn't realize/remember in my haze of chuckles was that Cetera's song was used for the initial NBC run. Makes sense.
