Gonna guess a Jerry Goldsmith compilation album to tie into the recent walk of fame entry.

And since I'm always wrong it won't be:

The Shallows - Marco Beltrami

Or

The Tick Animated Series by Doug Katsaros wink

The compilation is just another of those Krakov things... OBVIOUSLY!

Speaking of those two others, fingers crossed for:

THE BLACK PRINCE
or
SNATCHED

other possibilities:
Within
Deep
An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power
League of Gods

I wouldn'd mind a new Goldsmith compilation, culled from recordings Varese has released through the years. Does anyone here remember "JERRY'S RECALL"? That one came out from Japan back in 1993 or so ... that one is a fun album. Maybe a new compilation in the same style as that set, but with some unreleased material thrown in for good measure. wink

Id love to see a Jerry Goldsmith Western Compilation album and heck if it was a new recording then it would be terrific too.

Oh, snap, this reminds me that 24 years ago I was thinking of finding a Japanese to English translation on the booklet in that set! Never got around to it.

The announcement said: "Two fantastic new scores...."

So these won't be like Club editions of older scores, but new scores plus, probably, as Lokutus said, the next Krakow compilation - following the compilations they did in 2015 and 2016.

And just think, all you need to do now is hold your iPhone up to the booklet and you'll see the translation instantly. smile

OK... so no Black Prince tomorrow from Varese, since it was just announced that Caldera is fortunately releasing that one...

Perhaps finally LEAGUE OF GODS will be among them...

The usual batch of "Wait, people actually want to buy this?", but the re-recording album with the cool cover might be intriguing.

Random concert, that's for sure.

Pretty sure you could find Sara Andon's name on a Varese album without opening your eyes at this point.

Random concert, that's for sure.

But is this from a concert or just a mix of new and old studio rerecordings of cues from composers who were there?

ETA: If "Bastian's Happy Flight" isn't the film version it's astonishingly faithful.

When was Williams actually there?

Just a collection compiled from previously released compilations... how many cues is exactly new?
Maybe a couple cues are new to Varese (TNS, Fargo and that short Korzeniowski's score) but pretty much EVERYTHING has been released years ago.

Eshkeri and Navarro are FAR more interesting.
