The interview/article with Giorgio Carnini is just great. I'm happy to have been able to contibute to it :-) It was indeed surprising to learn that he played the organ (both pipe- and electronic organ) on virtually all of Morricone and Nicolai's soundtracks from 1967 until 1976 or thereabouts.
Not only that, he also programmed and played synthesizer on numerous scores and solo library albums.

I can hardly wait for part 2!

Thank you all guys !
And especially Mikael, who contacted Carnini and had the idea of this wonderful interview !
We are correcting the official credits ... and it's not achieved.
The researches on Italian TV is full of information too.

With all this stuff, we hope that more people will wish to discover and read the fanzine, which is serious and not quickly made.
We hope to put some samples available of each issue somewhere in the net. If somebody have an idea, it's welcome.

As our ad in the chimai.com Facebook page says, "Everyone is able to read Maestro" (see the picture, it's worth it, my daughter!).

Another fantastic issue! Amongst a bunch of great articles is one about Morricone’s work on early Italian TV. Something called PICCOLO CONCERTO had the benefit of Ennio’s arrangements/orchestrations. Starting in 1961 and over the years it was on, Ennio not just added his touch to Italian and American pop songs but the occasional film music like EXODUS, BARRABAS, HIGH NOON and even a special version of THE MAGNIFICENT SEVEN. The article not only lists the content of these shows but many others he worked on where he began to add conducting and composition to his contributions. This all culminated in 1967 when MUSICA DA SERA was a program completely about, starring, composed and conducted by, Ennio Morricone.

This is just one of a number of articles about everything from Ennio’s organist Giorgio Carnini to films like ORCA and THE RED TENT. Thanks again Patrick, Didier and the whole gang that made for another great read!
