Also cool for people living in TN like me. Not. Perhaps I can try to hold you to "we'll rectify it, no issue"? We don't have to refund you a dime, as this was posted by me on the internet on another site NOT MAINTAINED, OPERATED or FUNDED by Varese Sarabande Records. Though since I'm a nice guy, I have sent a note to Varese to refund ONLY your tax for this ONE order. All future orders IF YOU PLACE ONE, you will be paying sales tax. Have a WONDERFUL and BLESSED evening! Thank you for your kind comments and I look forward to more happy joyful pleasurable exchanges with you "Dervish Sanders" ...

DMD: ...all future orders will be fulfilled by Naxos Of America in Tennessee.... I believe I've seen some other complaints (other threads that I'm not going to hunt up now, as it took me awhile to find this one) but Naxos is NOT doing a satisfactory job shipping Varese CDs. Not in my experience at least. Another complaint I recall is that the Stephen King set was shipped in mailers when it should have been sent in a cardboard box (and people were reporting damage). My experience is that 2 out of 3 shipments I have received thus far have arrived with damage. Some minor cracks in the boxes (one of the 2 shipments for which there was damage) and now very cracked (pieces of the jewel boxes breaking off, hubs inside destroyed with the tines rattling around inside the boxes). How this happened is easy to see. The cardboard box was too small. The (7) CDs JUST fit inside. The corner of the box was bashed in shipment. If the box had been a little larger the bash would have pushed the CDs back in the box (and there would have been no, or a lot less damage). But because the CDs JUST fit, the jewel boxes suffered major damage. Additionally there was some minor damage to some of the rear inserts (small tears due to jewel box shards). Anyway, I just wanted to let Varese know that, in regards to Naxos handling their shipping, IMPROVEMENT is needed. Padding and larger boxes (that better accommodate the product) are cheap fixes and SHOULD BE DONE. I can't recall any issues, BTW, with shipping when Varese was handling it. Nothing similar comes to mind in the 10 or so years previous that I received packages from Varese.

Naxos isn't going to change their shipping ways. They have been packing CDs like this for ages.
