IMPORTANT SHIPPING ANNOUNCEMENT !



Some changes to our shipping department that may interest you. Information is below. Varese Sarabande Records is still located in Beverly Hills that isn't changing. We are all there still and will be producing lots of great products for you all, but all future orders will be fulfilled by Naxos Of America in Tennessee. SO you will be seeing your packages return address say TENNESSEE instead of CALIFORNIA as the state. CALIFORNIA customers were already paying sales tax, but TENNESSEE customers will now be paying sales tax as well. I was under no obligation to give you this info as it's all on our site, but I figured you all would appreciate the heads up and the new addresses and emails and info. I know I would have appreciated the information if I was in your shoes. So to recap, your CD's will be shipped from TENNESSEE not CALIFORNIA anymore. For conspiracy theorists, I thought I'd nip this in the bud quickly as most will start saying "OH MY this is it Varese is about to close". No, far far far from it. We are doing just fine! AND Todd is still with us as he's always been. Thought I'd nip that in the bud too before everyone starts thinking Todd is no longer with us. Does this mean you won't be posting ANY CD's out during that period, DMD?
I will be staying in a hotel in Orlando from 15-25th May and was hoping to have some discs mailed to me there, during my stay.

May 8th through May 21st, NOTHING will be shipped out. That is why we put there will be a shipping delay and we put those dates May 8th through May 21st.

We will not be shipping anything between May 8 through May 21st. You can still order on our website, there will just be a delay in shipping it.

First post in this thread says "all orders between May 8th and May 21st, will be discounted 10%". I was going to wait until the last day of the sale, the 21st. Except that the sale ends today (the 20th) apparently. I noticed the Temporarily sold out notation for Stanley and Iris, went to the Varese site to check, and saw a countdown clock that said the sale was ending in 8 hours (plus some minutes). So "between" those days does not include the 21st, apparently. Good thing I looked.

Also, during the checkout process I see TAX being added. But that has never been the case before. What gives?

Tax is added if you live in the state of California, if you do, you are taxed. If you don't, you are not taxed. SIMPLE

I live in TN. I'm signed into my account that has my shipping address as TN.

Does that mean I SHOULDN'T see any tax being added? If I should only pay tax if I live in CA (which I do not) then obviously I do not want to pay it!

Tax is added if you live in the state of California, if you do, you are taxed. If you don't, you are not taxed. SIMPLE

IF you get through checkout and it still is, send an email to us and we'll rectify it, no issue. smile

According to my order confirmation email I was charged $12.67 tax (State Tax 7.0%) on the 10 items I purchased. I sent an email. Hopefully this will be rectified ASAP with a refund to my CC.

So basically you have sort of outsourced your order and shipping department to Naxos? Like FSM did with SAE and now you guys can focus more on Varese projects. Thats cool.

Jiminy Christmas, man, you're always whining about something on this board. For years this has been your modus operandi, especially when it comes to sales, promo codes, anything with a deadline. There's always a problem or a special circumstance that causes you strife. Do you only post when you have something to complain about or are you just extremely unlucky in general?
