Nothing has been mentioned about it since. Yes MV has hinted at a definitive version of that, but also (more recently) 100 Rifles, which could really use the sound upgrade even more. It's probably my favorite Goldsmith western score but I rarely listen to it because the sound quality is so disappointing and the entire thing is not available in stereo.
